I guess we knew when we moved to Alaska that there would events we would have to miss, it seems ok until it happens. Skype is great and the phone is good for everyday - because of these we really haven't been home sick much at all, but a wedding is one in a lifetime occurrence which made Saturday a tough day. After a few tears I was comforted by the thought of their 50th wedding anniversary, it will no doubt be a great time and I vow to be there and dance and drink like like i'm 20 again.
