House Updates:

 Tired of getting crapped on....

House Updates: Alaska Sucks.....After weeks of negotiating we settled on a contracted price and and repair addendum, at that point we thought "smooth sailing" we even had a beer to celebrate. I think a wise person once said don't count your chickens before they hatch.  - We were scheduled to close Friday May 21st, on Monday I called to confirm with the bank and oops....they forgot our closing date and didn't process the paperwork fast enough. Rescheduled the date for Friday May 28....The sellers lied about the repairs completed and tried to raise the sales price to cover the cost of doing the work the right way....settled that argument real quick...."smooth sailing" - had the final walk through today (Wednesday) oops the bank typed a social security number wrong and the IRS refused to complete the paper work - closing date now....??????? My dad says this is Anderson luck - but if no one noticed I got a new last name, damn-it I'm a Gilbert! 

Weather and Friends: 24 hours of daylight = 24 hours of fun! We have Maddie, Mason, and 3 married couples we call friends...this is good

Can't wait to have a bon-fire in our own yard....but other peoples yards are still fun

All you can eat salmon, halibut, and prime rib at the Salmon Bake....
